Michael and Raymond: The Grand at 1600 Wedding
Michael Kaplan and Raymond Pruss held their autumn wedding at The Grand at 1600.
Located in Lakewood, New Jersey, this event venue provides the perfect space for an elegant ceremony and reception. From its outdoor courtyard with waterfall and florals, to the crystal chandelier and draped ceilings in its Grand Ballroom, a Grand at 1600 wedding offers countless opportunities for gorgeous photos and videos.
The happy couple hired Hurricane Productions to provide bundled media and entertainment services for their big day. We set up our wireless sound system for Michael and Raymond’s ceremony, then moved over to the DJ booth in the Grand Ballroom.
After the newlyweds made their grand entrance (complete with top hats and canes!), DJ Alvin Gay and MC Robbie Padovano kept the party going throughout the evening.
The couple’s friends and family spent the night dancing beneath custom intelligent spotlighting, which Nick Nittoli set up as part of our Spotlight Entertainment Package. When they weren’t on the dance floor, guests enjoyed using the attended photo booth that Michael and Raymond added to their package.
Capturing special memories from a special night
Hurricane Productions captured Michael and Raymond’s wedding events in photos and video. Photographer Corynn Egreczky spent the entire day with the couple documenting every special moment, from their pre-ceremony preparations through their spectacular sparkler send-off.
As part of our Full-Feature Videography Package, videographer Markus Robinson provided eight hours of coverage for Michael and Raymond’s day. After the wedding, the new Mr. and Mr. received a feature-length, 60 to 90-minute cinematic edit of their wedding, along with a three to five-minute highlight video to share with family and friends.
