Leaha Tilton is the Event Manager for Hurricane Productions. In her role, she works closely with our teams on all wedding, corporate, and university events.

Leaha is a self-starter and a team player ready to tackle any new experiences that come her way. A large part of her role is being involved in the prep for events, including the drafting of contracts and invoices, managing client data, assisting with social media send-outs, and overseeing third-party vendor relationships. 

Leaha developed an interest in event planning early on that only increased during her time working for the Jersey Shore BlueClaws. As part of their promotions staff, Leaha was primarily involved in fan interaction and greeting special guests invited as first pitchers or anthem singers. 

Before that, she interned with the Jersey Shore BlueClaws as well, working in the marketing management department to help organize local school-related visits/events and to create graphics for marketing materials.

“I would say that my interest in events/entertainment further developed during my time with the Jersey Shore BlueClaws,” Leaha shared. “It was a great experience and really solidified my desire to work in events.”

As for joining the Hurricane Productions and MediaCutlet teams, Leaha’s excited about continuing to develop her professional skills in event management. 

“I love how Hurricane allows for such a diverse mix of experience. Because Hurricane services everything from corporate events to sporting events, I felt like I could really gain great experience,” said Leaha.

Leaha is organized and proactive, qualities that will really help her grow in this position and become an asset to the Hurricane and MediaCutlet teams. She’s excited about the idea of developing her role and learning more from the teams.

“I hope to gain more knowledge of the events industry,” said Leaha. “I love that I am able to have a part in something from beginning to end and I look forward to developing as a professional and strengthening my skill set.”

When she’s not hard at work, Leaha loves to spend time with her family, friends, and two dogs, Ellie and Sam. She’s also an avid reader, loves to binge-watch New Girl or Friends, and spend time at the beach or do something crafty.
