Amylin and Phil’s Bear Brook Valley Wedding
People all over the world were popping champagne bottles on New Year’s Eve, but Phil Karnicki and Amylin Ader had an extra reason to toast: They had just become husband and wife.
On the afternoon of December 31, friends and family of the couple gathered at St. Rose of Lima Church in East Hanover, New Jersey, for a beautiful Catholic mass and wedding ceremony. Later that evening, the new Mr. and Mrs. Karnicki and their guests headed to Bear Brook Valley in Fredon, NJ for a fun-filled cocktail hour, reception, and New Year’s Eve celebration.
When Phil and Amylin began planning their Bear Brook Valley wedding, they knew they wanted Hurricane Productions to be a part of their special day. The groom – a longtime friend of Hurricane founders Vincent Velasquez and Strato Doumanis – and his bride-to-be opted for an all-inclusive package with entertainment, Twin Totem lighting, and full-day photography.
Photographers Mike Slagter and Corynn Egreczky were there to capture every moment of the Karnicki-Ader wedding, from pre-ceremony to the post-midnight reception, and everything in between. MC Robert Padovano and DJ Alvin Gay provided the evening’s entertainment, and helped the newlyweds and their guests ring in 2018 together.
