Job Description:
We’re looking for an exceptional Event Manager to join our dynamic team.
As our Event Manager, you’ll report directly to Vice President and work collaboratively with the Senior Event Manager, assisting with estimates, proposals, and invoices.
Your role will be instrumental in sourcing vendors, tracking expenses, and delivering top-notch customer service.
You’ll attend virtual and in-person meetings, provide insightful reports, and collaborate with AI to generate meeting agendas and action items.
Your expertise will be crucial in learning and leveraging event software, attending live events, and assisting with on-site coordination.
You’ll also have the opportunity to develop proficiency in software such as Cvent, Swoogo, and WordPress, and work within smart sheets.

Key Responsibilities, however not limited to:
- Report to and collaborate closely with the Events Director.
- Assist with estimates, proposals, and invoices, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Source vendors and event solutions, tracking expenses to maintain budgetary control.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client questions, attending virtual meetings, and delivering reports for internal and external teams.
- Collaborate with AI to generate meeting agendas and action items, tracking project plans against progress.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn event software and attend live events as needed, assisting with registration, running presentations, and other on-site coordination tasks.
- Develop proficiency in or be willing to learn software such as Cvent, Swoogo, and WordPress, and be able to work within smart sheets.
- Familiarity with Canva and experience working within social media templates.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Associates degree in Event Management, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in events or hospitality.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- A strong commitment to customer service and satisfaction, with the ability to anticipate and exceed client expectations.
- Proficiency or willingness to learn software such as Cvent, Swoogo, and WordPress, and the ability to work within smart sheets.
- Willingness to attend live events as needed and assist with on-site coordination.
- Familiarity with Google Suite, Microsoft, social media and templates
