All of Hurricane Productions’ live events are special. But some tell unique stories about the clients and the company.
As we compiled a list of our Top 20 events of 2011 it was hard to leave these events off the list. So here is a look at some honorable mentions from this past year.

4. Danielle’s ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’ inspired Sweet 16
When: January 16, 2011
Where: Courtyard on Main – Freehold, NJ
The Story:
Sometimes you meet a family that likes to challenge ‘the norm’ when it comes to celebrations.
Danielle and her family pictured an elegant event with a throwback to the Aubrey Hepburn days.
Inspired by the movie ‘Breakfast at Tiffanys’ the room design focused on a beautiful ‘Name in Lights’ gobo using the Tiffany font while blue uplighting accented the ballroom at Courtyard on Main in Freehold, NJ.
3. Gus and Kristin’s Wedding
When: March 25, 2011
Where: Nanina’s in the Park – Belleville, NJ
The Story:
Before pursuing Hurricane Productions full-time, Strato worked with his father at a family owned and operated auto repair shop in Maplewood, NJ.
During his time at the shop, Strato grew close with Gus – a technician at L&J Motors for nearly 10 years.
When it was finally time for Gus to ask the love of his life to marry him, the couple reached out to Strato to help them plan the celebration.
Gus and Kristin’s wedding shows the versatility of Hurricane Productions.
Hurricane fused the couples’ cultural backgrounds (Greek and Irish) into its music selection for the evening.
