The Excelsior in Saddlebrook, NJ was transformed into an Indian-inspired wonderland for Samantha’s celebration.
Samantha donned an elegant red and gold saree and beautiful henna body art for her special day. The ladies in her court, who also wore traditional sarees, were dressed in gold, blue and purple, while the rest of Samantha’s guests wore black, creating a visually stunning color contrast on the dance floor.
In ancient folklore and Indian mythology, an elephant with its trunk facing up signifies good luck and fortune. This symbolic elephant, a favorite of high schooler Samantha Demayo, became the focal point of the décor when she celebrated her Sweet 16.
Hurricane Productions made sure that every aspect of the evening went off without a hitch. DJ Alvin Gay and MC Robert Padovano kept everyone on their feet, while Hurricane photographers captured portraits and candid shots of the guest of honor with her friends and family.
The red full ballroom uplighting and twin totem lights perfectly complemented Samantha’s red, white and gold color scheme. Samantha also opted for a custom animation based on her theme, which was displayed on 42″ TV screens for her guests to enjoy.
