Keerthana's Royce Brook Golf Club Sweet 16

Singing. Dancing. Comedic skits. It's not a variety show; it was Keerthana's Sweet 16!

It was a spectacular celebration of family, music, and culture for Keerthana's birthday at the prestigious Royce Brook Golf Club in Hillsborough Township, NJ.

Several of Keerthana's family and friends prepared musical numbers and choreographed dances to entertain guests throughout the evening. The lineup included contemporary pop songs, traditional Bollywood-style dances, a father-daughter musical duet, and a routine by Keerthana and her court. It's easy to see where Keerthana, who represented New Jersey in the National American Miss pageant, inherited her talents.

Keerthana herself also gave a special solo performance of Adele's "When We Were Young."

Hurricane Productions provided lighting, entertainment, photography, and videography services

Hurricane Productions set up gorgeous lighting effects to match Keerthana's pink and purple theme setting the stage for the songs and dances.

MC Robert Padovano set the pace for the event, introducing important individuals and performances, while Nate Hawley provided additional entertainment as the evening's DJ. Later in the night, one of the performers, Swarali, even taught the crowd a few dance moves!

Photographer Corynn Egresczky and videographer Markus Robinson were there to document and preserve the event for the Family. Corynn took portraits of the birthday girl with her family and friends with Royce Brook's gorgeous grounds as the backdrop, snapped photos of Keerthana's elegant décor, and captured incredible motion shots of the live performances.

Markus recorded highlights from the evening – including the performances, touching speeches from Keerthana's family, and the candle ceremony – and edited them together into a two-hour digital keepsake.

Rachel's Sweet 16 - Old Tappan Manor

Rachel's Old Tappan Manor Sweet 16

The Old Tappan Manor was transformed into a pink and gold paradise as Rachel's family and friends gathered in honor of her Sweet 16 celebration.

Rachel and her family had a clear vision for their event. They wanted an elegant look with an over-the-top party atmosphere. Rachel, her court and her family wowed guests with several choreographed dances throughout the evening.

Rachel's family chose a package that included Spotlighting and Dance floor lighting. Our Director of Operations, Nick Nittoli was able to bring the ballroom to life and added a professional feel to the birthday girl's performance. The package also included a custom "Name in Lights" display, and personalized animations displayed on two screens to add ambiance to the room.

Hurricane Productions also provided a videographer and photographer for Rachel's Old Tappan Manor Sweet 16. Our media professionals were there to capture portraits, candid shots, and video of Rachel's party, taking advantage of the venue's gorgeous grounds. We were able to incorporate the facility's gazebo, landscaping, and rock waterfall into the backdrop of Rachel's photos.

When they weren't playing music for the impressive routines, DJ Nate Hawley and MC Robert Padovano had everyone up and on the dance floor giving the family the party atmosphere the family wanted.

From Ray Catena Audi of Freehold, NJ to Audi of Greenwich, CT

Hurricane Productions was tasked with creating a "wow" factor that would draw customers in for the Audi Q5 Launch event, held at Audi of Freehold.

On top of a dazzling display of custom animations and video projections, our team illuminated the columns in the dealership with a colorful lighting system, highlighted in our blog post about the event. Audi of Greenwich Connecticut liked what they saw, and asked Hurricane to install permanent uplighting in their recently-opened facility.

Co-founder Vincent Velasquez and Nick Nittoli, director of operations, thoroughly discussed lighting needs with the Connecticut-based dealership, and recommended various lighting fixtures to achieve the desired look. From there, Nick drove out to Connecticut early one morning to install the entire system for them before the sales floor opened for the day.

"Audi of Greenwich had a slightly smaller showroom [than Freehold], so they were able to take advantage of a wireless system to control the lights," Nick explained. "The lights were programmed to various color scenes so the dealership could change the colors at the click of a button."

After completing the installation, which took approximately four hours, the Hurricane team educated Audi staff members on how to operate the system properly. However, Nick is able to access the dealership's lighting all the way from Hurricane's New Jersey headquarters in case there's ever an issue.

"The benefit of going with a computer-based system is that it allows us to connect remotely to troubleshoot any potential problems, perform maintenance or to provide any additional programming," Nick added.

Hurricane was honored to work with such a prestigious brand in multiple locations, and the team hopes to help other businesses attract customers with beautiful custom lighting displays.

"It's always rewarding to improve the overall appearance of a something," said Nick. "To beable to do it with the premium brand – that's just icing on the cake."

Christina and Joseph - The Imperia - Somerset, New Jersey Wedding

Christina and Joseph Sapikowski were married on a beautiful autumn afternoon at The Imperia in Somerset, New Jersey.

From the entertainment to capturing memories, Hurricane Productions was there every step of the way to help. Hurricane co-founder Vincent Velasquez (MC) and Alvin (DJ) provided sound coverage throughout the couple's ceremony and reception, while hurricane lighting designers programmed lighting to set the ambiance for the reception.

The newlyweds also enlisted Hurricane to capture every moment with photography and video services.

Christina and Joseph wrote a heartfelt thank-you letter to Hurricane Productions, specifically expressing gratitude for the efforts put in by the entire team for their wedding.

"We will be forever grateful to have worked with you," wrote the Sapikowskis.

Melissa and Justin - Clarks Landing Point Pleasant Beach, NJ Wedding

Melissa and Justin Lippolis said "I do" at Clarks Landing in Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey.

Melissa and Justin hired Hurricane Productions for full-day video coverage. Hurricane's media team were there to capture every moment of the couple's day, from preparations through the reception.

Hurricane videographers took advantage of the beautiful Jersey Shore scenery and shot footage of Melissa and Justin on the water. The finished product was a gorgeous, bespoke video of the Lippolis' wedding day set to music.

Mr. and Mrs. Lippolis expressed their gratitude in a beautiful thank-you letter to Hurricane Productions, noting how pleased they were with the video team's professionalism.

"We didn't even know you were there," wrote the newlyweds.
