Rutgers Dance Marathon 2009: Hurricane Productions in the media

Hurricane Productions is in the news this morning after entertaining Rutgers Dance Marathon this past weekend, April 4-5.

The 32-hour event raises money and awareness for the Embrace Kids Foundation. As New Jersey’s largest, student-run philanthropic event, participants raised a total of $323,717.90 this year — the highest total ever.

Quoted from the Daily Targum:

Hurricane Productions provided continuous music and entertainment for 32-hours.

Hurricane Productions co-owner Vincent Velasquez was a guest on Magic 98.3 this past weekend to talk about Dance Marathon and the company’s involvement. The radio station hosted a “Radio-Thon” to coincide with Dance Marathon.

The Manalapan and New Brunswick-based DJ company was also featured in the Daily Targum last month after it entertained the Marathon’s inaugural Pep Rally.
