Lately we’ve been recommending a new product to our wedding, sweet 16, and mitzvah clients which delivers a big impact in a relatively small package. This product is DJ Screen. Adding a video or slide show to a DJ setup can have a significant impact on the focus of your next party. It’s small additions and details like DJ Screen that really make certain parties stand out. If you are planning a wedding, sweet 16, mitzvah or any other important function you want it to turn out as best as possible. But what actually makes for a great party?
The difference between a good party and a great party is usually found in the details. Small improvements and paying attention to detail have a huge impact on the overall outcome of a party. These details can include anything from spending some extra time on song requests to upgrading to a larger lighting package. Here at Hurricane Productions, we meet with all wedding and sweet 16 clients to stress how important these details really are. A slide show is a great way to add some personality to your event and give your guests a sentimental visual feature. DJ Screen is a one-size-fits-all screen made of lycra spandex and can stretch to meet the demands of any room size.
The great thing about this screen is that it can be directly incorporated into many existing lighting packages. For example, the trussing system used in our Complete Package (Weddings, Sweet 16s and other private functions) is perfect to support the DJ Screen while also supporting an array of intelligent DJ lighting pieces. This means less strain on your DJs to setup and run your slide-show which in turn results in reduced costs for the client.

During meal courses slide-shows and video montages are displayed on the screen while during periods of dancing the screen doubles as an added light show as music videos and visual effects are projected.
For your next party or engagement be sure to ask your DJ about any small additional upgrades that can be added to your entertainment package. If you’re interested in learning more about Hurricane Productions, a professional DJ entertainment company in central New Jersey, click here.

DID YOU ENJOY OUR PERFORMANCE AT THE SWEET 16?
Comment from Chelsea’s mother the day after the Sweet 16:
Chelsea and her friends had a blast today looking at the Facebook album. The event was more than she could have hoped for. I cannot begin to tell you what fun “everyone” had. From the very young to my wheelchair bound uncle…there was entertainment for everyone. Today was a constant string of phone calls and emails from our guests telling us, “what a party”! We had friends and family members that we have never seen get up and move, dance the evening away. We attribute the success of the evening to you. Cannot thank you and the other guys enough! Hurricane will definitely DJ all of our future parties!
